JLS headline a huge open-air summer show in Canterbury on Friday 7 August, delivering one of the most anticipated pop events of the summer as part of the launch weekend of Canterbury Live. With gates opening from 3pm, fans can enjoy a full afternoon and evening of live music, incredible production and a buzzing festival atmosphere in the heart of the historic city.

Joining JLS on the bill are The Wanted 2.0, Pixie Lott, BBC Radio 1 DJs Rickie & Melvin and rising star Len Blake, making this a standout multi-artist lineup packed with chart-topping pop anthems.

Formed in 2006, JLS are one of the UK’s most successful and enduring boybands. Since their breakthrough on The X Factor in 2008, the group have achieved multiple UK number-one singles, BRIT Awards and sell-out tours, with hits including Beat Again, Everybody in Love and She Makes Me Wanna.

The Wanted 2.0, featuring founding members Max George and Siva Kaneswaran, will perform fan favourites including Glad You Came and All Time Low, while Pixie Lott brings a catalogue of hits including Mama Do, Boys and Girls and Turn It Up. Rickie & Melvin will keep the energy high with a special DJ set, while BBC Radio 1-supported singer-songwriter Len Blake opens the day with her distinctive blend of pop, indie and R&B.
